What We Do

The Indiana University Office of Business Partnerships (OBP) connects industry partners with IU’s programs and resources helping them build a strategic relationship with IU faculty, researchers, staff and students. Serving as a central point of connection and coordination between business partners and other relevant campus units and organizations, we continue to help business partners efficiently navigate the IU community and grow industry participation in the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Indiana University.

OBP works in close collaboration with IU faculty, schools, students, administrators, IU Alumni Association, Athletics, Career Services units, IU Foundation, Innovation and Commercialization, Purchasing, Office of Research Administration, and IU Ventures to develop mutually beneficial, strategic partnerships focused on research collaborations offering targeted research solutions, talent pipelines, IP development, licensing and commercialization of IU technologies, sponsorship opportunities to showcase a partner’s brand, targeted philanthropy, as well as other value-added benefits for the university and the partner.
